The entire healer rework is very disappointing; each healer feels like a different skin of the other healers rather than being different from each other. Instead of reworking the healer role to be as interesting and unique as the other classes, it feels like they brought down the healers to the same boring, easy-to-play level as the White Mage. Its a good attempt to make the cooldown-reliant play-style of White Mage interesting with the new lily mechanic, but the play-style still revolves around just waiting for a certain amount of time to use your cool healing abilities (By the way, the only cool healing ability, in my opinion, is Assize since it dealt damage and healed). The other two classes got more of what made them special removed: Scholar doesn't do as much damage and the choices for pets doesn't even matter anymore, and Astrologian doesn't get to apply unique buffs that could benefit specific classes.

Why can't Scholar get an aetherflow ability that converts damage into healing for a single target and get a pet that heals for less but deals a small amount of damage in an AoE for every heal? Salene giving offensive buffs to the party was unique, why can't there be different choices for different situations for the Scholar? Why can't Astrologian get an ability that converts the drawn arcana into a damage dealing spell and get a trait that reduces the cooldown of Draw by 3 seconds for every healing spell they cast that restores HP? Removing the different buffs given by the cards is a big mistake, but I can see why the dev team would want to normalize the damage buffs, still, why can't the arcana just give slightly weaker buffs but keep the percent damage increase (you could change the Balance to give a small buff to potency for all actions, like 25)? Why can't White Mage get more abilities like Assize that heals and deals damage and get an actual healing gage that fills up for every healing spell or every tick of regen that heals HP, and the gage can be expended to cast your cooldown heals? I liked the idea that Presence of Mind could apply to the entire raid, why can't White Mage have a support ability like that? Why can't the healers have meaningful choices for healing, dealing damage, and supporting the party?

There will come a time in the raid and dungeon when you don't have to heal, so instead of having different damage options, we would only get a total of 3 damaging spells per healer? That's not fun, that's not interesting, and that's certainly not what healer mains want.
