No but going to test it out now going to see if it's any better when it come to Nvidia drivers there always better but for some reason when it come too ATI sometime take a while for them to get a good one that better for ffxiv.

    Edit:

Hmm seem like it way better then the old one but i have a 450GTX each video card would be diff for the drivers try it out and see what happen with yours.

I'm curious about this too...you getting better performance with same settings? This one seems to be focused at ambient oclusion, which i don't use, so i'm curious to hear about the performance as a whole.

    Running

    1440x900
    2x MSAA multsampling
    drawing quality 8
    General Drawing Quality Standard
    Shadow Detail Standard
    DOF ON
    Texture High
    Texture Filering Highest

and running at 30FPS in Ul'dah

Pretty have with this new update but remember i have a 450 so don't know if that would help much with other video card. I also don't have AO and before this update i could put most of the stuff on high and even multsampling up to 4 or 8 but i don't see much of a diff in looks.

Still testing to see if there any issue so far so good.

Sorry but this may sound like a stupid question.
I'm using alienware M17x R3 with Nvidia GTX 460M. Just wondering how do you set your FPS to 30? I couldn't find the option to adjust the FPS anywhere in the Nvidia control panel.

You might see a performance increase if your card is one-two generations old, if it's older then it's just a change of version numbers. I don't bother updating my drivers anymore (260 GTX) unless I see it being specifically mentioned.

BTW the drivers seem to work just fine for me. I can't honestly say I notice much an improvement, but the drivers seem to be more targeted for the 500 series cards. I can say tho, that uldah doesn't seem as laggy.
    I'm doing around 34-38 fps w gtx460 and i3-2100 in uldah

A 450 is one generation old (newest being the 5xx) series. As I said,

So... what about my post is "not true"? If anything, your post directly confirms mine.
