    Please make Abyssal Drain's heal more powerful

    Looking at DRK from the media tour vids it looks like their sustaining ability was nerfed pretty bad :S Yes we have Souleater every 3 GCDs but so does WAR and GNB, it's quite a small heal, and you can't Dark Arts to enhance it anymore so... I hate to complain this early on but if it can make a difference before launch I'll be happier than if I didn't.

    AD is also an OGCD now on 60s. I'm assuming it's replacing Sole Surivor (R.I.P :c) as their healing CD. Every tank has a 1200 potency healing ability, GNB, PLD, WAR- only DRK doesn't. I'm hoping that as is, AD at least heals per target hit, but even then you'd need 6 or more enemies to make it as good as the other ones- not at all good in single target. It's nice, but not nearly as potent as what the other tanks have.


    I would like to see AD more powerful, directly or indirectly, have using set skills reduce it's cooldown, have it divide 1200 potency of healing by the targets it hits, anything.

    On top of this it still has Walking Dead which needs healing, but again as is DRK can do little to get themselves out of it within 10 sec.





    P.S it'd be cool if when Fray uses Abyssal it actually heals you as well, since he's technically you.

    We can spam it over and over without spending 50% of our mana like it used to be, so as far as I know it’s more powerful because of that? I’d really like to see walking dead totally reworked myself.

    From what I could tell from video footage, and I could be wrong, but Abyssal Drain's heal is a 200 potency cure per enemy hit, so if you hit 5 enemies with it you get 5 separate 200 potency cures.
    With that in mind, in trash packs the AD heal is most likely fine and increasing it's potency could make it too powerful in comparison to the equivalent heal abilities of other tanks.
    The problem though is that while fine in trash packs, the heal is pitiful in single-target fights like boss fights, leaving you with a burst self-heal of only 200 potency, 1/6th that of the other tanks.
    So really the problem isn't that Abyssal Drain needs it's heal buffed, it's that DRK needs a solution for single-target scenarios.

    Reintroduce Sole Survivor with a new effect: Restore a portion of damage dealt as HP. If the target dies while afflicted with Sole Survivor, fully restore all of your HP.

    Feels like something you can add on to Quietus like they did in Stormblood.


    Quietus restores HP per enemy hit.

    Abyssal Drain is a 12 second OGCD as it is now, but the cooldown increases per enemy hit beyond the first. Makes it more useful in single target, and still fairly good in multie targets, while Quietus forms the backbone of your AoE health regen.
