Thread: Shields in 5.0

Didn't want to jump on and angry trains of most of the healer oriented threads.

Has anyone seen any confirmation on how shields will stack in 5.0? I saw at least one video that showed multiple shields present on one person testing, but not sure what lengths they went to in determining how MUCH you can stack.

Can 2 SCHs stack their shields? 2 ASTs? AST and SCH? SCH and WHM (Divine Benison and any others they got, don;t recall)?

D-AST and SCH in a group, and the AST goes Neutral and dogpiles shields, are they added on top of everything SCH has up?

Hoping that there is some QoL improvement there where certain healer actions work together instead of in place of.

As far as I know, Adloquium and Aspected Benefic still have the "Don't stack with each other" tag at the end. Naturally two Scholars can't stack Adlo either, given it's the same buff so one will be overwritten. Should still stack with things like Benison and Shake it Off, though.

Also, the crit part of Adlo is now its own shield effect, separate from Galvanize. Presumably that part stack with other shields, or what's the point?

I believe the point was largely a nerf to Deployment Tactics, which only extends the Galvanize effect, not the Catalyze effect from a Crit Adlo.
