The one thing I would say is that yeah...for the dungeons they should've increased it to 2 tomes per run. I know they put more "weight" on 24 main raids but these dungeons do take a lot of time to queu into and to run, 20-30 minutes for 1 tome is a bit on the low side compared to how easy it's to farm Syrcus tower. Next time their "weighing" should take into consideration the content type, 20-30 minutes in a dungeon is time consuming.

I know I said earlier that the rewards/grind was fine but for the dungeons I'm noticing how bad the dungeon reward is compared to everything else. Both dungeons and Syrcus, WOD, LOA should have given the same amount.

you can clear the dungeons within 4 minutes per run, if you use bluemages (synced)

so its basically already faster than doing 24s

In the time it would take you to farm that many tomes, you could have probably gotten the full set of Heavensward lanners from random drops.

Right, this makes me hate Blue mage even more. Like where's the fun in "cheating" your way through easy low level content. I'd admire this job more if it was doing that with level 80 content.

Anyway I'm on track to get 100 of these tomes next week but I hope next time they just find a way to create a level 15-49 Leveling roulette so that those levels don't take 1 hour to queu into as dps.

25 runs through Syrcus Tower, versus a random amount of time fighting six EX bosses (I already have Ravana's bird)? Including the time to find groups willing to do it, repeatedly in the case of people dropping when they get bored, or get their own? Or doing the same fight 99 times if RNG hates me today? Even assuming they can actually clear each fight on the first pull? And leaving aside that I've only done EX Bismark and Ravana, so I'd have to learn the fights for the others as well?

Bismarck and Ravana are the only birds available from the event anyway.

I've joined Bismarck WT parties a few times, and got the whistle very quickly. If most of the party already have the mount and are there for the WT stamp, you're going to have a good chance of winning the whistle if it drops.

I don't know if it was just good luck, but I got Ravana's whistle very quickly as well.
