    Solo endgame battle content.

This game has been primarily party content based. In order to attract new players who have a hard time partying up and staying in parties because of time restraints, I was wondering if you could add NMs and maybe Primals that are only allowed to be fought solo. Battles that would require great use of skill and good equipment to beat. NMs that would require different disciplines/classes to kill them. Like this NM is weak by magic and can only be beaten by a discipline of magic, or a NM that can only be killed by physical attacks. Perhaps a instance that takes a solo character through a gauntlet of battles the require multiple disciplines.

So instead of content restricted to parties, you want solo content restricted to classes? And you want to make endgame content more accessible?

    What?

I never said to make it more accessible. just more solo content. Sometimes it is hard to get into a party because you are not the class that is needed anyway. You need to have multiple classes at 50 in order to help the party and change into the class that is most desired for the best outcome for some battles anyway.

I'm sorry but I disagree. I don't think it will ever happen either.

I think a better solution would just be to make end game content with more variety. Dungeons and Instances for parties of four, and which require different classes than the usual ARC/GLA/CNJ or LNC/GLA/CNJ combination.

I wouldn't mind some solo events for decent gear. Sorta like the 60 ENM from XI, except the rewards didn't suck.

From what I'm seeing, the solo end game content will be for our job quests, at least thats the type of feeling i'm getting from it.

I dont think solo engame will ever exist, nor would i want it too. Skyrim is single play i think. There is allot to do solo, and if you cant set aside a few hours here and there to do endgame with a party then id suggest not playing an mmo at all.

I think solo endgame content should consist of maybe a PvP system (awhile down the line), and perhaps something "points" based like the GC stuff. Besides that, there really isn't much place for it; an MMO is supposed to be played by multiple people, and it's a bit much to expect content specifically tailored to the solo gamer.

That being said, I would love some content designed for smaller groups. The end-game picture is sorely lacking for standard "static party" setups, which typically have a hard time maintaining and coordinating 8 people (hell, my group of four has had a hard time staying together at times, what with jobs and school schedules). Even just removing the entry requirements on existing dungeons and fights would be a huge step in the right direction; it also shouldn't be too hard to introduce a 'scaling' difficulty based on how many enter.

Bottom line - as someone who joined FFXIV primarily to continue his static party from XI (a group of four), I'm strongly considering switching to another MMO. I know there is a lot of work to be done, and I can appreciate that there are a lot of demands and only so much time and energy to spend on each. That being said, short of small XP parties together, there is absolutely nothing available for us. It's not just that everything's extremely difficult; we're used to having to cobble together weird setups to beat fights that aren't supposed to be done with four people. It's that we're not even *allowed entry*. The fact that we're even blocked from the AF Armour quests (since certain pieces require 8-man parties to even enter the dungeon in question) was a massive disappointment for all of us. We've liked a lot of the directions that FFXIV is moving in, but if there's not some eventual sign of low-man content, we're going to quit for lack of anything to do, no matter how promising the game is looking.
