What do I need to do to get Eureka Weapons?

Alright I haven't even started to work on getting any of the Eureka Weapons as I was busy leveling up my other classes and have been on break for months now. Came back and want to at least finish Eureka a bit.

Basically the story and weapon. But the place is sort of... not interesting me? It's so slow and such, but I did have fun with other people.

That said I only unlocked Pyros I believe was the name of the second area and I'm only level 17 - 19 last I remember so I got a ways to go.

I know they've done updates to nerf the grind a bit, but I do recall one of the steps causing your previous stats you added to the weapon to be reset so it's kinda pointless to do.
Also what changes to the steps as well so I know what I'm getting myself into and not making a mistake somehow while trying to make one Eureka weapon.

What do I have to do for each step so I can make this as easy as possible for me? I currently have 80 Protean Crystals and 912 Anemos Crystals and apparently I'm set to get the items for the weapon asap.

I'm going for NIN as it's my main. So what's the three stats I should focus for it?

Step 1: Anemos

Antiquated > Normal = 100 Protean Crystals
Normal > +1 = 400 Protean Crystals
+1 > +2 = 800 Protean Crystals
+2 > Anemos = 3 Pazuzu Feathers

Pazuzu Feathers can be obtained through killing Pazuzu, 3 per kill or purchased from the Expedition Birdwatcher for 300 Protean Crystals each.

Total: 1300 (2100) Protean Crystals and 3 Pazuzu Feathers.

Step 2: Pagos

Anemos > Pagos = 5 Frosted Protean Crystals
Pagos > +1 = 500 Pagos Crystals + 10 Frosted Protean Crystals
+1 > Elemental = 5 Louhi's Ice + 16 Frosted Protean Crystals

Frosted Protean Crystals are obtained via gathering "Light" which is available after level 25 once you've completed the level 20 and 23 quests for Krile. Each bar of "Light" can be turned in at the Forge for 1 Frosted Protean Crystal. You can hold up to a maximum of 9 bars of "Light" at one time.

Louhi's Ice is dropped by Louhi, 2 per kill. They can also be purchased from the Expedition Birdwatcher for 50 Pagos Crystals each.

Total: 31 Frosted Protean Crystals, 500 (750) Pagos Crystals and 5 Louhi's Ice.

Step 3: Pyros

Elemental > +1 = 150 Pyros Crystals and 10 unique Logogram actions unlocked
+1 > +2 = 200 Pyros Crystals and 20 unique Logogram actions unlocked
+2 > Pyros = 300 Pyros Crystals, 5 Penthesilea's Flames and 30 unique Logogram actions unlocked

Penthesilea's Flames are dropped by Penthesilea, 3 per kill. They can also be purchased from the Expedition Birdwatcher for 50 Pyros Crystals each.

In addition, farming "Light" will allow you to adjust the stats on your weapon. As a NIN you should be looking for Crit, Direct Hit and Determination.

Total: 650 (900) Pyros Crystals, 5 Penthesilea's Flames and 30 unique Logogram actions.

Step 4: Hydatos

Pyros > Hydatos = 50 Hydatos Crystals
Hydatos > +1 = 100 Hydatos Crystals
+1 > Base Eureka = 100 Hydatos Crystals
Base Eureka > Eureka = 100 Hydatos Crystals + 5 Crystalline Scales
Eureka > Physeos = 100 Eureka Fragments

Crystalline Scales are only found from killing Providence Watcher, 3 per kill.

Eureka Fragments are only found within Baldesion Arsenal.

Total: 350 Hydatos Crystals, 5 Crystalline Scales and 100 Eureka Fragments

Haven't made it far myself, but all I can really say is expect a grind. It's going to be slow going. It's meant to be slow going. The only real way to do it (or at least Anemos, as far as I've seen), is being on during active hours and being part of the train. You'll get piles of crystals, and if timing/weather is on your side, you'll get your feathers. Exp will be ok, but you can also work on challenge log entries for that. Slow and grindy, but can be solo'd without any trouble.

Can't say as I've figured out any decent way to progress through Pagos yet, tho.

Just want to say thank you for this post. This is the first time I've seen the requirements for all maps summed up into a single post, and have been referencing similar reddit posts as needed specific to each map. Its nice to have it all in one place.

Yes. Thank you very much for posting all of the information in a single post! This will help a lot. Got all my classes maxed out and I'll be doing the Challenge Log to help speed level my character. Going to continue in Anemos, even though you're capped at 20, to make leveling easier as I'll be maxed and doing the Logs give a lot of EXP.

Just a quick note; the Physeos stage, like the stats stage in Pyros, is completely optional. Completing the Physeos grind helps if you are aiming to finish/farm BA, but the weapon has no glamour change, no out-of-eureka stat change and no associated achievement for obtaining it.

Quick question: I recall that someone mentioned that your Logogram actions you add to your Eureka Weapon for stats get resetted upon upgrading to their next step and you have to re-allotted the stats again. Or am I thinking of another step?

Well I finally got to level 60 and have everything available to me. Currently working on the Hydatos Crystals and I'm halfway done with collecting what I need. Honestly I wish I knew ahead of time you cannot purchase the Scales for Hydatos, but having the respawn timer be 24 hours for the NM you NEED to kill for the drops? Honestly that kills me and so it takes 2 days to get 5 Scales.

Not to mention Shadowbringer is around the corner. Why wasn't this step nerfed to buy the Scales yet?

Yea, I'd kinda hoped for this, and an increase in hydatos crystals per NM by now. But at this point, I think its safe to assume we won't see this until after the expansion.

Provenance Watcher is on the same 2 hour respawn timer as every other NM in Hydatos. The problem is getting people to spawn him consistently since it takes so long. In my experience, he seems to get spawned once an instance, so if you miss it, it can seem to take forever to see him.
