So...what's the verdict? Good patch, best yet?

Just got back into the game last week, have to say I love what I'm seeing so far.

Can't wait to get into everything, especially the new Jobs and AF. It definitely has more of an FF feel now. Impressive.

Here's my question

For those of you that have been playing 1.21 since yesterday, how would you rate it out of 10 so far, and whats the best new element in the game overall?

No. This patch sucks.

I still don't have my mailing system that Square Enix addressed will be added in 2.0.

Also inns WTF? Why am I being rewarded for logging off there?

Also omg jobs are sooooooooooooo lame give me a gunblade SE!

I'm quitting forever.

Undoubtedly the best patch thus far.

However, it really feels "too little, too late" and the jobs really just feel like the class, but with prettier armor.

Also, the input lag for skills is really annoying.

Hello,

I will need at least 2 weeks to investigate the merits of the changes that have come into Eorzea recently before I can pass judgement on whether it is for our benefit or not.

However, so far... I like my new room. Comfy bed to jump up and down on!

Its decent, I really like all the new quests that I can do, and I am also looking forward to obtaining seals a bit easier as well as finally getting rid of my marks.

So I am very pleased with this patch!

I'm enjoying it quite a bit. I took a bit of a detour compared to everyone else and immediately got my chocobo armour, aethernet pass, and inn room, and just those had me really happy. The chocobo armour is bosslike, the aethernet systems in each city are super handy. The inn room is a tiny bit barren for its size. One table, one bed, and a nightstand with your cutscenes. Haven't played around with it yet but looks fun.

Did start on one job quest and I must say they did it well. You actually need to party up for some of the quests, which is a nice change.

All in all I give this one a 10. Then again, apparently I'm an outlier in the negative/positive spectrum for this game since I'm always happy with it.

I LOVE this patch. One thing, jobs stats arent really much better than classes.
