Text Command for GC Chocobo?

Heyo. I just updated the game to 1.21 and finished the last few quests I needed to be able to afford my Storm Chocobo, before I checked into the inn for the first time. While taking my new ride for... a ride... I guess... It dawned on me that I had to use the mini-menu to summon my wheels.

I don't use my mouse when playing because it is a little clunky due to a low-end lappy and mediocre interwebs, and I get along just fine using only the keyboard (Props to SE for that kind of functionality. Anybody else JUST use the keyboard?). But I think it would be convenient to have a text command that accomplished the same thing as that little birdie icon (not sure how the goobue fits into this picture yet, so those of you that have both please enlighten me).

I'm not complaining, it won't kill me to grab my mouse when I want to go faster, but I think it would be nice to have a /chocowhistle macro'd on CTRL+0. Thoughts?

You can set a hotkey

Configuration > Keyboard > Other > Scroll down to Mount/Dismount Chocobo

I set mine to Page Up. There's also a hotkey for Goobue; I set that to Page Down.

That doesn't invalidate your request for a textual command, but hopefully that will help you.

I didn't even think to look at the keyboard config... I just assumed that since there was no text command that you HAD to use the minimenu.

Thanks for the info. I prolly never would have noticed, and I scrolled through there quite a bit when I started playing to get familiar since I was only using keyboard.
