Care to explain how that's comparable to ultimate? A1-12s (with the exception of 3S) wasn't really that hard and a LOT more people cleared those than ultimate in SB by like... a wide margin.
If you have the prestige, you have the title to flaunt. If that's not enough idk what to say lol. Ppl literally crying over a glam that will never exist for dnc/gnb.

Because they went back and added weapons to a long dead tier that neither Red Mage and Samurai were apart of? The person I quoted said Dancer and Gunbreaker shouldn't have old Ultimate weapons because the devs would have to make new weapons for content people aren't going to be doing as much. As I pointed, they already did that with Alex. The difficulty is entirely irrelevant. So I have no idea why you brought it up.Care to explain how that's comparable to ultimate? It isn't about the prestige. We have it. People just wanted the same shiny weapons for the new jobs because they look cool. Oh no, people like glamour. It's almost as though that has been a huge selling point for this game.

Average player could have done Alex unsynced with echo on SB release to get the weapons. No such option will be available with Ultimate, so the number of payers able to acquire the weapons would be much lower.Because they went back and added weapons to a long dead tier that neither Red Mage and Samurai were apart of? I don't think you can make a blanket statement here. For some people it is for the prestige, for others they just like the look. But regardless of which camp one falls into it's equally disappointing that the weapons aren't available.

The UCoB weapons became glamour after Sigmascape released with the i370 tome weapons and i375 Diamond weapons. Likewise, the UwU weapons became glamour after Alphascape released with the i400 tome weapons and i405 Omega weapons. The only thing they offer is an additional materia slot, so they are more or less used for glamour now unless you use them for an Ultimate gearset (which a lot of jobs can just take in higher item level weapons—Savage, Tome, or finished Eureka weapons—with better stats and allow them to sync down). Much like previous raid tiers. The only difference is that the content was made for the 1% in mind, and the developers opted to preserve its difficulty rather than allow it to be facerolled—neither of which are poor decisions.
I still think it would be nice for them to add in DNC and GNB weapons in the future. If they can’t do that on launch, that’s fine—they didn’t add Final Coil weapons for SAM/RDM until after launch in SB. But I would like to see them in the future. Especially since I really like the blue glow the UwU weapons have.

I agree and disagree. There is prestige to getting the weapons and the title, but you're acting like there isn't an element of glamour collection to it. I've personally done UWU 18 times, 14 on my main and 4 on my alt, to get them weapons for glam on jobs I'm aiming to play into Shadowbringers. Likewise with UCoB, I have three clears and intend to get more...for glamours on jobs I intend to play into Shadowbringers.
I would like this feature, but understand if it would be considered low on the dev priority list. It is not a feature I think is inherently necessary to my personal enjoyment of the game. Others may think differently.
