Please Implement Ultimate Weapons for the new jobs!

Final Coil didn't originally have SAM or RDM weapons, but they added them in later. This is not an impossible thing to ask, especially since UwU weapons contain AF reskins for later jobs except SAM/RDM.

I hope they reconsider because I've been looking forward to spending a token on a DNC weapon. And I know a lot of others have been as well (same with GNB).

They never add previous expac relics for new classes

Drk/Ast/Mch don't have a 2.X relic, and Sam/Rdm don't have a 3.X or 2.X relic

And since the special challenge ones are like reskins of previous relics, they would most likely not do it

These aren't exactly relics though. UwU uses some weapons' AF models from HW (DRK/AST/MCH). The Ultimate Dreadwyrm weapons are glowy Final Coil weapons.

there's also no reason, other than annoyance and relearning skill rotations, that'd prevent any person/group to (re)clear the 4.0 ultimates while running as GNB/DNC.

I'm willing to bet there'll be a good number of folks that will do precisely that to prove it can be done. Only then for them to say "I cleared UCoB / UwU as (GNB/DNC), but I won't get a weapon as a reward for it" will feel really bad for those that do.

I think the reason they do not want to make weapons for these jobs in the previous ultimates is fairly simple.

They want to preserve the challenge of the ultimates. Thats always been their sticking point about ultimates, and while that seems like a pretty jank excuse to not add weapons. Try to keep in mind the ultimate fights we already have were made without dancer and gunbreaker in mind. Dancer alone with it’s buffs and gunbreaker with its utility could slightly tip that challenge a bit too far for them therefore they do not want to incentivize people to take these new jobs back through old ultimates.

Once again it is a foolish possible reason but one that also makes a little bit of sense if you think about it. Maybe not the most sound sense but some kind of sense.

I was trying for the first relic and just stopped.
Cause I had to start a new relic later, then the other relic then I was like yeah I am not dealing with this and just stopped trying.

I liked FFXI way of getting the relic it can be upgraded and it was the same weapon and were still useful later on.
Here its like you get ahead then the rules change and you go back to step 1.

same thing with the side missions for armor, you have to wait a week to get 1 piece while you have a rough time later the run is nerfed and restrictions off for people to have it easy, so I stopped that also, best to wait because no benefits to working hard for stuff.

If the devs can find magic free time to make 500 hats fit on Lion-0 and Bugs Bunny cosplayers, they can take some of that magic free time to make FOUR weapon models. Bonus: You don't need to figure out how it will fit on a cat's head.

lets not fixing a issue with a race that couldn't wear much head gear is a bit different than 6 weapons skins (yes six because they would have to add another set to coils even though they were never lvl 50)
you also would need to make a entire new model instead of melding it to another head

appreciate that they took there free time to make head gear for races but don't think they should always take there free time for this game
they have lives as well

I agree with this thread. Ultimate is a time and effort investment; the weapons serve as a trophy of our accomplishments. It is unfair to those of us who have cleared the fights to make us choose between playing a new job and getting to use the weapons that we earned.

The dev team has been transparent with their, appreciated, desire to keep the prestige involved with ultimate and I would ask them now to allow that prestige to be fully appreciated regardless of the job choice people make.

Why should these glamours be available to jobs that didn't exist during their relevance other than, "but I think they're so pretty!", or "but they made HW savage weps for sam/rdm!".

Ones a selfish desire, ones irrelevant since Ultimate isnt savage content. It's actually harder.

Just enjoy ShB Ultimate skins when those are released.

Because as it stands now those who invested the time and effort into clearing these fights are faced with the decision of continuing to reap their rewards or playing one of the new jobs. As your lodestone does not show any indication you've cleared either ultimate, I can understand why you might not realize that right away but it does make me wonder why you feel the need to detract from the enjoyment of people who have done those fights?
