    Perhaps it was intended on the site or it was a mistake and it should have included the duration (outside of Revisions), but obviously in-game this will show in the tooltips anyway so there is nothing to worry about.

    As for for the other stuff, honestly the descriptions (despite a few little bits of potency discrepancies on certain jobs) mostly make sense, maybe people who don't have English as a first language may find some confusion with them. Although a number of these actions have had the same description for years so can't see them suddenly being changed.

    The potency nerfs seemed to hit SMN kinda hard. Harder than the other casters it seems.

    We’re now headed into SHB with less utility (contagion and radiant shield gone), and now Devotion is on a 3 min CD; will what we’ve gained balance out what we lost?

    I swear I read something like that before SB launch lol... and guess what? DPS was fine.
    Is there even a point in talking about potency until we know scaling and stuff?

    Everybody lost a lot of utility. And devotion is 5% now which is pretty good especially if you line it up with party buffs

    I think SMN is meta or semi-meta.

    They do a lot damage in SB but with new bird on roster... oh boy more damage.
    they got nerf on pet utility.
    but devotion is so good now.
    they can follow the burst windows.

    I thought MNK was the chosen one on meta change but nope SMN all the way.

    We're definitely making gains, make no mistake. There are tradeoffs here and there vs how things were in 4.x, and vs the media tour figures we have lost a chunk of change but it can be argued the potency figures from the tour were too good. This is our potencies brought more in line, although I would say perhaps a tad overdone. There are some question marks pertaining to what they've done with pet scaling, as the ifrit changes have the potential to be disastrous or great by themselves.     I think its funny that the summoner is no longer a pet class. They are not pets anymore they are just buffs. You get a visual persistent buff spell. They changed our pets into that Rook Autoturret. Personally I think SE has lost touch with the game. People who play pet classes play them BECAUSE they are pet classes. Now we are just standard casting DPS.

    I do like the stream line of the other skills. But they get a Big FU for the pet changes.

    We have several pet entities that react to commands we give them. We even gained an additional Demi-Summon per two minute cycle vs Stormblood. Pray tell how we aren't a pet class?

    Traditionally for FF, that is what smn is. Just a powerful buffer or spellcaster.

    Even in FFX, summons are more buffs than pets. Imagine ifrit more or less as your party combines into one and gets more stats.

    I know MMOs traditionally have a pet class, so perhaps in that aspect, the direction of smn might not jive with those who wanted it to be that for FFXIV.

    I feel like I could start a discussion purely on Egis right now but I'll post my quick thought here. We got a good thing and bad thing at the same time. First Single Target and AoE Pets are a good thing, but the "Support-type Pet" is lacking in all areas.

    Summon II should really be designed to help the summoner out but current it would be better to use Earthen Armor then use Summon III until you need a buff again. I would like to see the following changes be made:
    Rock Buster - Addition effect: +10% chance of inflicting Stun for 2s.
    Earthen Armor: N/A
    Mountain Buster: Addition Effect: Knockback with Heavy Debuff
    Earthen Fury: Addition Effect: Slow +5% (Shadowflare)

    Ifrit really doesn't need an AoE attack since Garuda has that covered. I would also like to see Flaming Crush to changed to something like "Deals fire damage with a potency of 90. Additional Effect: Adds Fire damage over time. Potency 5 with a duration of 15s."

    Enkindle needs something in the way of recast timer reduction or potency increase. It basically does 350 Potency every 2 mins. Ruin III does 200 Potency every 2.5s. Fester 400 every 15s. Akh Morn / Revelation is 650/680 every 60s? The point is it's very low for our Egi's signature move. Would a 60s recast time really over power Summoner?

    Something I've been wondering about...will you be able to double weave Egi Assault and Egi Assault II into a single GCD? Could save a lot of headaches if it's possible.

    Edit: Ok, apparently you can. And the Ruin IV trait is permanent too, these 2 things are good news.
