I kinda wish Firebird Trance reduced cast times to 0, or by like 95% or something.
Then channeling Phoenix would make SMN as effective of a Rez mage as RDM, which would be fitting in multiple ways.
2.5s reduction isn't enough for Resurrection. I barely manage to Ascend with Lightspeed and that's a 50% reduction.

Yeah no thanks. Chain raising is too niche to be interesting, and it seems to be locking Red Mage out of interesting party buffs.
Let's not think Raising is a buff. Please.
