What about making Everlasting Flight as buff for Resurrection without mp cost or Physic buff
Everlasting Flight being an irrelevant regen is the least of SMN's ShB problems.
On one hand, I'd rather not have a crappy heal, even a passive one, on a DPS job. On the other hand, if the crappy heal has to exist, I'd prefer that it not be so crappy.
Have they not reworked the healers to de-emphasize their offensive capabilities, while leaning more towards the healing aspect? Pass Everlasting Flight over to Scholar, maybe it will bring some joy to them. And maybe bring back Contagion/Radiant Shield in some form for Summoner.
But it is a problem, and I do like to complain.![]()

Then what would be the alternative? I know some people floated the idea of Alexander as a demi phase but as much as I would like it, I think devs are trying to keep mechanical-type pets to the MCH. Granted there are lots of other primals to pick from but least Phoenix was kinda new (only seen during the coils) and something we didn't expect SMN to get.
Damage field is pretty much what Devotion does.
We have 3 existing primals people want upgrades toThen what would be the alternative? I'd have gone 'primal-trance' route. Upgrades your egi to a demi version and lets you run around in circles spamming an upgraded primal themed version of ruin or outburst.
Your big 80 flashy cap skill could be something like merging dreadwyrm trance and summon Bahamut in the same sort of style. Maybe have him megaflare or something when he appears to differentiate him a bit more from level 70 Bahamut.
Energy drain looks to be on 30s now, so you'd have 30s windows during which you spend your stacks and summon a demi-something.
1 or 2 basic primal demis, followed by big old demi Bamahut, repeat.
