Thread: WHM still has no raid DPS buffs in 5.0

My 2 cents:

Plenary does not work on 10 seconds. Never has, never will. 30 seconds was nice, since it was useful. 2 aoes could be healed with medica, the third one with confessions. Was really nice.
But it would have been nice if it did anything else but more healing honestly. ANYTHING else than more healing.

Asylum: Why is it always the worst out of the 3 "Bubbles"? Sch has regen now, whm does not get a shield. Why did whm not get MINI mitigation on asylum, too? It's better than nothing.
Again, ANYTHING but more healing would have been nice.

Every other healer can have both regen and shield, whm can't.

The wings seem nice enough, but it has a long recast timer and only 20 seconds for 10%. But it's nice.
And i still like benison in itself but why do we not have something similar for the party?

It is not that hard to give asylum a mitigaiton... or plenary, if they NEED to make it 10 seconds again.
Or like, some sort of buff ast lost? Speed up? Don't care, anything but healing.

And you can't even say that the wings are too much since the othe rhealers can have mitigation ON DEMAND.

They said that overall, they want to reduce the importance of raid buffs, and synergy between jobs so that more people feel more equal, even if you don't have said buffs. Not everybody needs to be a hybrid healer/support or dps/support, and in fact I think it's rather unhealthy to the game when we try to do that for everybody. Let AST have its little niche, as do the other two jobs.

Let one class be a healer and a buffer while the others are only healers? Do you hear yourself? All healers can heal all content. Give one amazing buffing potential on top of it but not the others? That just makes AST superior in every way.

Y’all want things like this and then get mad when all of the roles are homogenized. Ain’t y’all dizzy ?

Not at all. I wanted dual card readings for AST, so basically TWELVE different effects, instead of ... two.
And I wanted Shell and Protect back on WHM.

The fact that Plenary Indulgence has been nerfed back into its original useless state is absolutely mind boggling.

It gives Confession to yourself and others that works like a bomb. When you use any AoE heal afterwards, it explodes for extra burst heals. It's actually useable now. What are you on about?

The duration is down to 10 seconds and no longer stacks, which limits its already piddling effectiveness. But you're right, WHM could really use the extra heals.
