I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels the same way about the Astro changes. Before I kinda knew they needed some changes because of The Spire being usless now, but everything just being a diffrent version of balance.....I dont like this.
I actully like assessing the situation to see what was needed. Sometime the other healer would need MP and I would do my best to get a ewer for them, or a tank bust is coming so throw a hole on them. Even a crit/arrow on Bard is a good combo.
Now everything is balance. Kinda takes the fun out of the cards....might as well get rid of them and give us a move that buffs a targets damage by 6% and cooldown is 20 seconds. There fixed
I am debating over switching to either sch,whm,dark or smn have not decided. The cards being nothing but Dmg buff is just a turn off for me.
Note: Taking advice from a players alt, is like taking advice from a voice in a dark room. Criticism is a two way street remember that!!

Two reasons... Tanks have better hate/arggo/defensives and two... Dancer stole your buffer spot.


AST is literally worthless right now. The cards got shafted, Gravity is somehow ever worse than the new Holy, and what the heck is with Celestial Opposition? A crappier Aspected Helios on a 2 minute timer? Who needed that?
I wish they would have at least made it so it is still range / melee but it was a pair or dmg, another of skill speed, another of crit, so there is still some variety, now that we have seals and no royal road there was no need for a pure balance fishing.

These changes are a major disappointment and I will either be swapping to main SMN or just unsubbing altogether, not sure which at the moment.
Either way I won't be healing until these changes are revoked or better ones are put in their place, may the queues rot.


Outside of potency changes I wouldn't be expecting brand new abilities a month before the expansion launches. Healers will be fine, people that enjoy playing healers will play them and those that don't will move on to something else. Also, the forums are the minority even if ever healer that posts here stopped playing healers you still wouldn't notice any decrease in queue times. People love making mountains out of molehills apparently.
