
Simple changes that would make a lot for this job.just personal 2 cents...
- divination should have less cooldown, a 6% increase for 180s CD is too much, i say 120s is good for 6%. or maybe the opposite, 180s for 10% increase.
- i think you should get your card seal even when you are not in combat
- there should be a card seal combo for more in depth play feature, like a 3 sun seal will net you something. right now the card system is very basic, blue card = melee/tank purple = magic/range thats it.
- maybe up the cure potency for celestial opposition a little more.
Card system is ridiculous right now.

This is another thing I wanted to reply to but then didn't want to double post, I'd love to see the Seals adapted into a roulette system, utilizing different seal combinations for different effects. This is really an amazing idea.

Once you get all 3 seals, you will have to turn into minor arcana the rest of your draws adding an extra button press.
Also, I find myself wasting a lot of time playing cards now... specially when I use Sleeve Draw. This wasn't an issue in 4.0 at all. It just shows how bad this changes were planned... if planned at all.
The class is honestly amazing at it's role now but it's also equally boring. It was dumbed down into oblivion. It will probably be my main healer once I get it to 80, but I doubt I will be actually healing all that much in this expansion unless my group ABSOLUTELY needs a healer. It's just so painfully dull now. I'll need to set alarms to wake me up when fights are over.
It's promising to see that the Japanese side of the forums also has a thread about astro with ppl complaining so it's not just us. they're gonna have to do some fixin' or address the issues
Or just revert the changes completely. Instead of nerfing SCH and oversimplifying AST they should have just buffed WHM up to their level.
Where are people getting these MP problems from? I'm thoroughly curious because I've seen a lot of people complaining about AST MP yet here I am that just recently hit 80 and finished MSQ with little issue.
Lucid Dreaming is available every minute now and Lightspeed lasts longer (and Essential Dignity doesn't need to crit anymore to reduce Lightspeed's cooldown.) With 2 charges Lightspeed is also up fairly quickly. Piety also helps with MP regen.
I agree with all the other problems AST has (boring cards, broken Play button, underwhelming new spells with long cooldowns) but I just don't see the MP issue people are having.
believe it or not some people can actually forgot that lucid dreaming is exist. when you are in the mid of intense healing and your mp is below 1/4, panic kick in.Where are people getting these MP problems from? also some people especially new comer has this bad habit of healing everyone using their strongest heal at their disposal, in AST case that would be spamming benefic 2 and aspected helios, those 2 alone take 2K from your 10K mp, so use it 5 times and you are pretty much out.
and not counting person like me who always dot every enemy tank pulled, 5 enemy = another 2K mp, and the occasional malefic

The whole notion that the seals (one of the main component of the card system) are pointless outside of group content is ridiculous. Or am I missing something?
You are not missing anything. Outside of group content you are equally / better off by just using lady of crowns. 3x Lady of Crowns nets a 6% increase in DPS(2% per card, stretched over 45 seconds). Since Astrologians lack any 'burst' where buff stacking becomes useful, seals do nothing for solo play.
The only reason for actually collecting seals would be a dps check of sorts, that required you to kill something in under 45 seconds.
