    1.21 Download Speed

    I'm not sure if the dev's have optimized patch downloading, but I managed to download the patch within 10-15 minutes.

    For such a big one, i was pleasantly suprised.

    So thank you SE, being able to play before I can even finish reading the patch notes in great detail was a big +1 in my books.

    I'm sure one good reason is they've finally blocked 3rd party torrent clients.

    I have been downloading for hours, sitting at 0.0mb/s

    it will spike up to 1.5mb/s for a few seconds, then straight back to 0

    need a good torrent link lol

    I got to 60% in about 30 minutes; I thought "They finally fixed this thing!" Then it got stuck and didn't do anything for another half-hour. I closed it out and downloaded the whole thing using uTorrent in 15 minutes.

    I'm in Australia, so i imagine that i'd be a lot closer to the server than most people.

    It was 500 KBs + steady. An australia's internet compared to the US/Asia is outdated at best.

    Can't argue with the results.

    The updater uses a torrent, so you already have one. YMMV depending on OS, username, and drive letter, but for me, it's located here:
