Moogle Treasure Trove event pulls too many players away from level 70 content

Over the past few days on Crystal I have been trying to run content at level 70 in order to level up my character there, however it has become such a chore now since nobody seems to be in queue for level 70 content. I feel this event really needs an adjustment, maybe even extending it by another month so people wouldn't feel so pressured into spamming old content, or increase the dungeon rewards.

That being said, I can sort of understand why it's designed like this. First to help new players through old content that they might find it hard to find parties for, however I really feel like this is not a problem the game has experienced. Moreso, I think this is a stress test for the instance servers on each Data Center. It would explain why it was capped at level 50. This cap however, is leading to a drain on people doing higher level content, and leaving those that desire to run such content high and dry. These are seriously the worst queue times I have seen in six years of playing this game, and it is making me consider cancelling my subscription for the first time since ARR's launch.

you're choosing to play the game at a very much downtime part in the cycle right now. quite frankly i'm not surprised there are less people doing high level content as most things are already done or taking a break before 5.0 comes in about 21 days. what times are you playing? if you're playing during the day that will make it even more difficult to do things. primetime would be your best bet to try and get things done.

Last night I was in queue for Ridorana lighthouse as SMN starting at 9PM EDT, and the queue popped 80 minutes later.

On Primal the ques have honestly been pretty normal despite the event going on.

However my Alliance Raid Roulette 6/10 times will put me in Sycrus Tower because of it which I absolutely hate. It's the shortest of the three but good lord is it boring. At least in LotA you have a chance of people dying because they're being rash or WoD where you actually have to do mechanics or just die. The fact I'm actually wishing for LotA is scary to me as well.

I'm really hoping if they do this event for next year that they use the HW dungeons/alliance raids as the main feature. I would gladly run Void Ark, Mhach, and ESPECIALLY Dun Scaith over and over to get some tomestones.

Ridorana tended to take a while to tag for me even before the event. I'd guess it's more because the new expac will soon come out so people are just waiting before resubbing, or they're not interested in doing those content anymore.

Yeah I feel you. I usually play late but I figure if I want the level 70 raids, I have to try and play in the morning while more people are online, otherwise it's just not happening :/
