I see your response and I raise you this; Why would a pug -insert role here- join a farm party if they need improvement? That's what learning parties are for. No need to waste other people's time by sucking.PuGs are a you get what you get thing You can always tell who the weakest links are just by taking a glance at the overall screen. You can also help improve the weakest link by explaining where you're watching them falter at. They can improve everyone can improve even the greatest players can improve however they cant improve if they don't have practice.
This is called capatilism, your got priced out and think your services are worth more than the market is willing to pay. Your loss someone elses gain. Your old money now and carry that old money mentality. EDIT: you also no longer have a monopoly and refuse to adapt to the new markets, you have become a modern Vanderbilt. They won't remove it, or change it.
For cerberus, at least for myself, using the marketboard to sell things has come to a full stop. What previously netted me 200k-300k every couple of days for a couple of hours work, now gets me less than 70k for the same amount of work. Hard to get materials that previously sold for 100k at least, now tend to be found at 40k or less.
Personally, I'm not bothering to sell anything anymore, why bother if the amount of work I put in isn't properly rewarded? Less than 70k for a couple hours of work isn't rewarding, it's insulting.
I have enough gil that I don't need anymore of it, and I won't need anymore for quite some time. I'm just off the market when it comes to providing the raw materials, which I used to provide quite a lot of.

And there is the typical using WoW as the boogey man post. Now all we need is "This is some HQ bait" post, and we would have the full set!
I have played a bit of WoW, due to the better PvP there, but I have played years more FF14, and I'd say that excluding trade chat, WoW is actually pretty chill and not all that toxic.
If you play on the Oceanic servers like I do, even Trade Chat isn't that bad at all, as there is a lot less stuff about politics in there.
But I really am getting sick of people using WoW as the boogey man, or as a buzz word. You try to suggest better PvP modes? You get responses like "NO, more PvP is Liek WoW, WoW BAD, No PVP in FF14!" Players suggest an in-game parser? "NO WoW has people with parser add-ons, WoW is more toxic becoz parsers, no parsers in FF14!" What about Grand Company stuff being more meaningful? "NO, WoW has factions, Factions cause toxicity in WoW, NO Factions in FF14!"
WoW has become the default reason for people to disagree with stuff.
I was also worried about the marketboard stuff before it dropped, but I guess my server was actually one of the cheap ones, as a lot of stuff has gone up in price on my server, and more things are selling.
I will admit that hunts have gotten a bit worse though, people don't really wait for players to get there anymore.
It's gotten back to ARR and HW levels of EP's. It'll probably pass though, as those EPs get what they want, or get bored of hunts, as periods of EPs have passed in the past.

Crossworld is actually a large part of what killed WoW.
It broke up server communities and increased toxicity exponentially because people were no longer being held accountable for their actions.
Frankly, I'm surprised and disappointed that SE thought this was a good idea.

It was the most toxic gaming community I've ever seen.
It's not even close.
only problem I have with it is when I log in and have a Queque on my server to get in and I have to wait 15 minutes cause the queque isn't dropping it flashes but the que isn't dropping.
I shouldn't have to wait to log in on my own server when the que's were very little sometimes but I didn't have to wait that long before.
granted its not always but when it happens when I want to play its just gets on my nerves.
From my personal experience, the feast before they removed the chat, ARR Titan HM before they fixed the latency (I was told to kill myself and uninstall the game back then, which nobody in WoW has ever told me), Rust, Overwatch, and even Runescape has been more toxic for me than WoW.
Honestly, what I have experienced in WoW is nothing compared to the Rust community. Part of the reason why I like Rust, it's unique in how toxic it is, I can only handle it in small amounts though.
i honestly cant agree with most people comparing markets/economies of different servers. why does it matter for people, for example, if a "fat cat" were to cost 100k on behemoth and a "fat cat" were to cost 1 million on cactuar? every server has its own economy, on behe you may sell it for much less, but maybe everything else costs less, so in the end its the same price (more or less). so why bother comparing it and talk about how ridiculous the prices are? after all the community on each server sets the prices.
also guys complaining about stuff not selling, please do consider that we are at the end of the expansion, lots of people are taking breaks and a lot of people simply don't want to spend gil atm, at the end of every expansion this happens.
Well some players want to be with friends on certain worlds, but those worlds are locked and won't accept transfers/new alts being made. We then have players that want to take advantage of Preferred status worlds but still want to be close to friends on other worlds on the same centre. So in situations like this the Cross World Visits become really appealing for new and old players alike when the greater social and grouping up aspect is taken in to consideration.Crossworld is actually a large part of what killed WoW.
