Yes you do, or at least kill them with a 1-2 second difference. We won after 20+ wipes, but we did it!
The Blizzara strategy works, but if you need extra details:
I'm 93% sure that someone will question our strategy(even if it's the same everyone's using) and/or say something is better, but hey - it worked for us.
1 Tank (our guy decided to go as GLD, for the extra abilities)
2 CNJ (1 could work, but better safe than sorry)
1 THM (extra abilities "just in case")
4 BLM (I think we went in with only 3 - it was late!)
The tank has to lure the enemies to the entrance and once there the BLMs have to cast Blizzara at the same time. If even one of the lanterns stay alive they'll re-pop instantly and you'll wipe pretty fast. Once the lanterns are defeated all of the mages go near the shrine (or the closest you can get to Barbaros), because the lanterns respawn from there.
BLMs have to do this (after first group of lanterns):
(while Blizzara is on cooldown) Thunder -> Thundara + Freeze
Once Blizzara is ready, all BLMs/THMs have to stop and wait for the next group of lanterns.
Blizzara -> Kill lanterns
Repeat
Good luck!
