Mogstation purchases should be obvious, they've converted most mounts coming out to Account-Wide.
IRL Item Purchase Bonuses, I.E. Artbooks, Soundtracks, Plushies, etc. Some physical item delivered to your house that comes with a code for an in-game item.
For example I just got the 2 Stormblood Artbooks and the 2 Encylopedias. With shipping was a bit over $200 (if i would've gotten them faster with separate shipping closer to $300, waited to save like $50-100 in shipping). Out of the 3 codes, only one was Account-Wide. For a bonus to a $40-50 item. Don't get me wrong won't stop me from collecting them, but considering that all 3 of the previous artbooks and the first encylopedia came with account-wide minions, its a bit beyond disappointing that the newer 3 are single character.
An inherent bonus to leveling and story progress for having a character through it already. Why make a legit alt if you don't want to play the game again that the story skip/job level skip potions won't cover? For context, I have 3 characters all set for ShB, one more at 70 I want to say around Tsukuyomi, 3 more at 60 3.1-3.2ish, and last one had to finish getting to 50 for FFXV event. If all I wanted was mules, everything after 15 is irrelevant. Most things I want for alts are account/server not just account aside from things that make use of real world money.
Yep, I agree, be nice, but honestly with my list.
1 Should happen, 2/3 vastly alter how well people who choose to play alts can (for people who don't it can be used to save a fortune on inventory space while not requiring too much additional server space on SEs part) and not play in some odd ways to compensate for lack of features. 4 is mostly just a bonus to 2, but it won't vastly change how I play like 2/3, if my private house gets private rooms, but I can't share with all my chars on Midgardsormr, I'm not dropping my Solo-FC to be a normal player again. I get an account/server shared bank and an account/server shared house with no private rooms, I'm going through the process of soft-disbanding my FC then letting one of my chars wait out the auto-demolition on that house to collect the expenses. Could really use "selling" your house off to be added, but not a topic to get into here. 5/6 I'm personally pretty okay with it never becoming a thing, it's more of a lazy mode on my part, and I'm still slightly peeved that I'm missing only one of my 8 X-Mas 2018 bears...
