Alt players and the future.

So, I was thinking, hypothetically, if FFXIV gets the the old wow 12million sub count what will they do for alt players?

By the time the sub count reaches 5 million you're going to have a lot of people who will make subs for fun and for leveling up new classes. They may still be the minority but, it will be a big minority at 12 mil.

Even if it's a quarter of 12 mil, (3 millionish?) That's going to be too many to ignore if they all post on the forums about "alt equality" and "love for alts".

What do you think the devs will do? Should they do anything? What would you do?

Do you have alts? Do you mind people who make alts? Would you be opposed to making content easier for alts?

My alt finished his msq in about a week of played time, and finished getting its crafters to 70.

I have an alt FC made on a different alt thatll be moving into a large house so I can decorate more soon.

Not sure what needs to be done for alts or why it would be a need.

Alts want pats on their heads. I know. I've interviewed alts before and they reply kindly to pats.

3) easier as in getting through the story easier if you've beaten it on a main.

1) people make alts for, (a) coming from a different game and hasn't converted to FFXIV system, (b) character identity and rp purposes, (c) bag space, (d) to play with friends, etc.

I would love to see achievements, event items, glamor wardrobe, calamity salvager and mog station purchases be shared between all alts.
'Cause let me tell you, I just grinded all 7 of my alts through arr in less than a month to get the items from the XV event, and I kind of hate the game now since I did all that??

The Important Ones:
1. MogStation/IRL Item Purchase Bonuses being account-wide standard
2. Account-Server shared personal housing
3. Shared Bank (akin to the FC Chest, but probably like 1/3rd the size for regular items)

The Extras/Bonuses:
4. Private Rooms for Personal Housing
5. Shared Mounts/Minions/Emotes
6. Shared Achievments

Extra Details on Points:
1. We spent extra money, this just makes sense. Also currently peeving me that Wind-up Yotsuyu, Dress-up Tataru, and Matoya's Hat are all single character...
2. After the housing changes to being Account/Server this issue became blatantly apparent, the legit alt players mostly just wanted to play with a house on any character, some disappointment for not having each character their own house, but combined with point 4 this would basically be a non-issue.
3. The main issue affecting people who play alts.
4. Kind-of an addendum to point 2, but it would be another reason not to have a solo-FC for alt players.
5. Mostly just a way of not repeating the heavy grind based items, or having to spam out seasonal events 8 times in 2 weeks.
6. Somewhat same reasoning as 5, and if we are being far, Achievements are more about the player than the character anyways.

Responses to Other Requests:
No, we do not need leveling/story progression bonuses for alts, you made the choice to have one, that's part of playing the game. For those that don't want to, the story/lvl skip potions are sold already.
Shared Glamour Wardrobe would probably hurt more than help tbh. It'd be less variation of items for potentially more varied characters. Not exactly against it, but just think it'd be more of a hindrance.
Achievements/Event Items/Calamity Salvager are nearly a singular issue since the 3 interact so closely with each other. Achievement and Event Items end up on the Salvager so if you have it unlocked/obtained its there.
