People also seem to forget that healers have actions to help avoid all or some MP costs being used, (i.e. Thin Air, Lightspeed, Aetherflow), along with Lucid and Refresh capabilities. Once spell MP costs are adjusted it'll be just like how we are playing now, nothing much to worry about.

This is incorrect. Lightspeed does not half the potency of your heals. Back in HW, it cut the potency of your damage spells by 25%, but never healing.

Read what I said "avoid all or some MP costs", I never said everything was free casts. Also as Hyomin said, healing is not reduced during Lightspeed, please read your tooltips.
