This is the result of having the GC lore affecting how teams are made up.

On the EU/NA Data Centers, it has long been acknowledged that veterans and those that take PvP a bit more seriously than others switch to the Maelstrom Grand Company and later turn the Freelancer status off to make sure that this group of people always gets matched on the same team.

Newcomers and everybody else gets placed in Adders and Flames. Maelstrom wins most of the matches because of this.

Now people might say that you should just make a premade to get over this. They could but there is only so much a premade of 8 people can do against a whole alliance of 24.

The reason I make this thread is because I like PvP this game, Rival Wings and Frontline more so than the Feast, and I want it to have a bigger playerbase. I have been on the Maelstrom bandwagon myself but I stopped when the queue times simply got too long.
If the dev team actually cared about increasing the PvP playerbase, I think they should adress this.

Just remove the GC lore, make Freelancer status mandatory and make unique team names like with Rival Wings' Ravens and Falcons.

The Frontline achievements can be adjusted accordingly.
