Disabled QA staff or not, there's so many different ways things can go wrong with a person even under the same diagnosis that it'd be utterly impossible to compensate for everything. Nevermind the fact that there's content plenty of people will never see even without disabilities.

I know that the changed the look of different tethers, so that colour-blind people would have it easier, but I am not sure about other ways staff have dealt with disability issues.

i wasn't going to reply mostly because ive always hated yo think about it but.. personaly i have muscular dystroph. was born with this curse.. i use to hate playing games or even the ideal of it until i got out of highschool. I did watch my cousin play games on ps1-2 and dark age of Camelot though. However i cant go out much at all i only can leave home once or 2x every 3 months without my husband's help i wouldn't even get to leave at all. So i start playing games that felt like being free and unchained.. Still if i could i wouldnt play games at all. for me games like this is just a way to kinda get that free adventure ability.

proplem is ill admit I'm unstable so i don't deal with i guess youd say emotions and how i view stuff quitely if I think its wrong or w,e ill say it and ill let my true wild nature do as it pleases. although it gets me hated and banned alot id rather that than tell a lie and fake smile because people want me to

I have seizures, ptsd, and nerve damage problems. The seizures are the big kicker though cause it affects me if I play to long so I have to play in short spurts during the day to avoid having them. Also PTSD keeps me from communicating in games as well. So I usually stay to myself.

To be fair, there's only so much they can do with game this big. Just like in real life, there are so many issues a person can have that it's just not reasonable to expect everything to work for everyone all the time.

That said, I have no major problems with this game. My issues are annoying (Tourette's, and I'm missing some interesting internal organs) but don't usually stop me from playing games.

Anxiety Disorder. Playing roles like tanks and heals really was a pain when I started to play. I was so nervous, but I managed. I rarely if ever solo queue, I always play with my hubby, so I can someone to reassure me whilst running throught dungeons.

As the years goes on, I get better and work throught it despite it all

I usually hate talking about this for reasons I'm sure I don't have to explain, but I found a mouse that made my disability far easier to deal with so I'm going to make this post in case it helps someone else with similar problems.

I don't have a permanent disability (at least I hope not, only time will tell). I have nerve damage in my back so it limits my mobility due to weakness and pain. I can't use a normal mouse because for whatever reason it aggravates my back a lot. Using one results in shooting pains in my hands. This prompted me to look at ergonomic options.

I got this mouse. It looks weird and trust me I was sceptical too when I first saw it, but it honestly changed my life. I went from being unable to even browse the internet to being able to game again. The best part about this mouse? It's so bloody cheap. Most ergonomic pc accessories I have come across have been super expensive, but that mouse was only around 10 euros. There are wired and wireless versions.

It feels strange to use at first but you get used to it. I find it so comfortable now that I won't ever go back to a normal mouse even if I can use it without pain again. It's the best mouse I ever had.

I have severe degenerative damage to my spine and nerve damage in my neck and both arms. If I sit and play for too long (a few hours at best) I end up in a LOT of pain. Also the nerve damage makes it very hard for me to spam buttons. (such as in the shinryu fight) At times I will hit a completely random key on my keyboard. This is not something I can control.

Still, I do ok. Macros and hotkeys help. What helps the most are my friends in the game. They know I'm disabled and cut me some slack. I'm on Leviathan and it seems to be a nice server. I like to play healer but speed runs are more than I can handle on most days. I make sure to tell this at the beginning of any run with a new tank and have had very few who are jerks about it.

I have anxiety disorder, which is related to being scared of people, find it very hard to make friends online, especially in game. I only run content with my brother now, because I'm too scared to use Duty Finder and my progression through the MSQ has halted as a result. Also been diagnosed with arthiritis of the spine, so can only game for a few hours at most, before I have to take a rest, but at least can still get to enjoy the game I love

Condensed list of my issues, in no particular order.

Vitamin deficiency: (This one is recent, treatment should start soon. Not a classified disability but it disables me at least) This causes immense bone and muscle pain, and sometimes intense migraines. I often have to take breaks to just lie down and decompress/relax the muscles in my shoulders/neck/back. Sitting for long periods of time can be hell despite having back support on my chair.

IBS: Nothing worse than being mid-raid pull and needing to rush AFK for 20-30 minutes. At its worst, I have to abandon the raid/content I'm doing due to the pain.

ADHD/Short attention span: I can focus on something for brief amounts of time before I get bored or distracted by something else. Sidequests are a nightmare as they distract me from MSQ thus I lag behind my pals.

RSI: Working in retail for 2 years completely effed my mouse-hand wrist. It'll cramp up at the worst possible time and sometimes it just flat out goes numb. I've been told there's no treatment for it other than to rest and not put any weight on it so that ones here to stay.
