For future references if you're looking for gear from 1-49, limsa,gridania and ul'dah all have a shop on one vendor in each of the 3 city-states that sells 1-49 gear from the same guy.

For 50 to 60 gear you can go to the jeweled cozier in ishgard and buy your gear for those lvls all from the same vendor, just like u can for 1-49 gear in the 3 city states.

Plus for SB content 61-69 each of the SB zones sell gear, this gear isn't as good as tome gear or crafted gear but it's cheap and better then nothing.

With poetics u can do alot, buy gear, things to sell for gil, etc, so poetics always has a point.

The Alexander and coil raids if u wanna do them put up a party finder and put in the listing 1st time bonus.
