Will I ever be able to create a character in a congested world?

Hi!

I'm currently playing in Cactuar, but I decided to start over as a male Roe. I like Cactuar and its community, I don't want another world.

However, it's been almost 4 days that I'm trying to create it but I can't because the world is always locked. I tried almost every hour, even wake up in the middle of the night to try, but it's simple impossible.

My question is, with tomorrow maintenance, if I log in 7 a.m., just seconds after it's over, will I be able to or the world will still be locked?

I'm deeply sad with this, and fantasia and name changes are out of the options, because it's too much expensive to me.

The status of the worlds change every day, it's not always effected by maintenance. Only thing you can do is keep checking the update on the Lodestone and see if any statuses are changed or not.

Congested means it's locked to new character creation and you also cannot transfer to it. They review this status at major patches - your next hope for change will be early access. Cactuar's never been marked congested before now, so it's possible it may become uncongested but there's no way to know for sure.

you get a free fantasia at lvl 50 so I'd recommend playing until then so you don't have to start everything once again

You can name change a character through the optional services in the Mogstation, but it costs $10 USD.

As I said in the original post - "fantasia and name changes are out of the options, because it's too much expensive to me."

Why do ppl have to do that, accept that some worlds are just filled and move on... but pls dont take it as insult its just beyond me...

If youre a Boy who dislikes playing a girl, or a girl being tired of it, or anything, why didnt you consider that first? I've run into so many pply by now using fatasia like 10x untill they are 70... I actually still have all of mine as i never used my free ones. Id see for changing to Viera/hrothgar but still... (further, why roe and hrotgar?^^)

Addresing it:
1) I created my characters in Cactuar before it was full, before it even got queue;
2) Anyone can change their mind anytime, if you didn't change your mind in your character, good for you, it doesn't mean it applies to everyone. I created my Miqo'te, found it cute and fun in the beginning, but now I'm tired about it, I didn't like the looks of the some armors and want a bulky character - simple as that.

If you have nothing useful to add to my question, please simple avoid it.

Then your only options are to just Fantasia your main regardless of name or wait until they re-evaluate the congested worlds and see if Cactuar is still congested or not. The next evaluation will probably be around Shadowbringers Early Access.
