Need some advice - Playing on PS4 and want to add PC version

You will need a base ARR whenever $20 (not sure if the Twitch Prime/Amazon Prime deal is still going), and for the cheapest options, start on PC with Shadowbringers basic for another $40. The ARR will at least allow you to login and work on your HUD. Now until SHB hits there will be some odd issues when playing on PC. I.E. won't be able to make Au Ra, it'll claim your EXP is locked at 50, it will not load into most expansion zones, exception being Shirogane.

Actually, as long as you are not buying through Steam you can get HW free as well, so you'll be able to get to 60 and make an Au Ra.

OP - if you only get the base game and HW and put them on you same service account as your PS4 service account you'll be able to play on both. Just be sure to log in an ARR or HW area if you are planning on logging in on the PC next. You can only log in with the version you've bought the license for. I've got the full license for both versions and go back and forth. I buy (preorder) the PS4 first, then get the PC a bit after release. I've never had an issue. I usually log in my starter city or the saucer.
