I use NOD32 and had the issue. Tested your fix and it worked ! Anyone knows SE IPs / URLS used by ffxiv so i can add them in an exclusion list instead of disabling http checking ?Ok, found a way to get it to work.
Currently using ESET AV (but will most likely work for any AV you are using with the following option), I went in and disabled the option to Enable HTTP Checking. Once I turned it off, the patch was able to download. This is the first time this has ever created a issue, so not sure what has changed.
See if this can possibly work for you Frisque.
Any Mods can give us this answer? for the URLs that is?
Sooo.. where to go in to disable "ENABLE HTTP CHECKING"?
Because.. I have no idea lol
what AV prog are you using?
