A new suggestion for Chemist: a support healer

Years back, I put together some Job suggestions. I'm really glad to see something similar to one of them will be in 5.0, with Gunbreaker, although my concept was for a DPS role Job. However, one of my other suggested concepts was for a healer, Chemist.

I know we have "alchemist" in name, but that's not a DoW/DoM combat Job. And my concept was for that, based on the classic Job from other games in the series.

The gist of my concept was a healer that has a heavy emphasis on buffs and debuffs, via tech similar to Ninja's Mudra; Mix. Using Mix, Chemists could tailor concoctions with a variety of effects, from beneficial ones for themselves and their allies, to malign ones to be used on their enemies. However, using tech similar to Mudra would mean that screwing up a concoction could result in a dud mixture, or unintended effect, either bad or possibly even good. Modifiers used during the Mix process could add and modify the resulting effects, such as making it single-target or AoE, beneficial or harmful, and what kind of good or bad properties.

While I'm not sure what weapon would fit the Job best, I do figure it would be a comparable healer to others that exist currently, with a greater emphasis on support, similar to yet different from AST, BRD or NIN.

Some examples of possible mixture effects for beneficial or malign effects could include a simple invigorating potion that restores health continuously over time, a poison that lowers an enemy's strength, or even an AoE of lingering acid that could wear at the health or even armor of enemies to be caught in it.

What would be used for such a Job would ultimately be entirely up to SE, if they decide to implement a version of Chemist eventually, although I hope this suggestion helps.
