Thread: Darkside as emote in 5.0

So according to what I understood it seems that darkside is going to be removed in 5.0. It would be nice to get the animation back as an emote. It might be trivial but for an mmorpg game, immersion is a crucial game feeling in my opinion. Pre-battle preparations like putting darkside on served this purpose very well. So putting it back as an emote would be nice and wouldn't button bloat

ring of thorns would also like a word with you. as in it's not gonna happen.

Smn chiming in to also ask for a summoning emote where we write in out books. I always loved that little interaction and I'm sad it's going away, even if it means we're getting a huge usability upgrade

I am definitely going to miss this animation with Darkside very likely going away. An emote would be cool, but then non-DRKs could do it as well. Just going to have to nip this one at the bud I suppose.

At least Darkside would be expansion appropriate and a suitable end of MSQ reward.

I agree 100%. It's such an large part of our tool kit and identity as Dark knights. Hope we can at least get to keep it as an emote.
