Two others from my server have posted in this thread; I concur with both. Though Zodiark is quite busy (there's people everywhere! and not all of them are bots), it's not worth queueing as a DPS on Light past 11pm at night (I would say 10 for trials, but that's only in my experience). I wouldn't think this to be different anywhere else.

See i'm having the opposite problem.

Coeurl used to be empty. So empty that i used to know everybody's name off the top of my head.

And now it's one of the most booming servers on the crystal datacenter. I have wait times now. I understand why they split them.

Did Coeurl really grow that much? That's good to know, I'm happy y'all are still doing good.

The population decrease isn't as noticeable during prime hours, but if you play mostly at night I could tell a big difference starting the week of the split. Perhaps a majority of the late night gamers are on primal or crystal. Or maybe they started playing other games that week because it's the end of the expansion. Or maybe they log in, see nothing going on like me, and THEN go play other games... There's a threshold in online games where once the population gets low enough, it plummets. This is a great game, and I'd just hate to see it start dying because of bad decisions like fracturing the player base. I already lost a good portion of my friends because of the server split.

It's got almost nothing to do with the data center split and much to do with the next expansion being released in a few weeks. Every MMO goes through this at the end of an expansion. People take a break and do other things because they know they'll be reserving the bulk of their free time to play the new expansion when it releases.

Come June 28th, the servers will be packed again.

As for losing friends over the data center change, it sounds like they weren't really friends after all if a data center change made them cut off all contact with you.

I'm constantly getting stuck in Queue's on Leviathan because there's so many dang people

I doubt the server queues are due to the server being full. It's more likely that it can only handle so many simultaneous log-ins. And people using the world transfer system treats changing worlds the same as a log-in. So the reason there are more queues for logging in now than before the server split is because of people moving back and forth checking all the market boards.
