    Yeah, that MCH didn't seem to be going all that fast during Overheat.

    Not to mention that it's now something you can activate at any time at the cost of 50 heat, and there seems to be no penalty after Overheat is done, it already looks a lot better than what it has been.

    We’ve already discussed to death the previous problems with MCH. With many different people and often with each other.

    Rapid fire seems to be gone. The tools seem to be either GCD or, on the off chance that they are oGCD, they are single weaves. Gauss barrel is gone which saves us all from that headache every single moment.

    Reload in its old form is gone which undoubtedly eases our old woes fight long. We obviously don’t have post overheat clusters of insanity anymore. Unless we get some sort of RF and that RF requires double weaves we’re fine.

    There’s nothing to suggest this will be as... unfortunate as it is now. OH as it is will be gone and things like FT OH and it’s associated manipulation through server ticks is gone forever.

    We’ll be just fine. If I had even a small inkling we wouldn’t be I’d be all on board. But there simply ain’t enough information and what we do have seems promising. This is coming from a guy who lives in the states yet plays 200+ ping into tonberry.

    I've seen some leaked changes. Wildfire is far better than it used to be if true. Rapid Fire is gone.

    I'm wondering if there's going to be a new magic number for skill speed MCH is going to want to reach now that Wildfire supposedly scales based strictly on how many weaponskills you execute within its duration as opposed to dynamically scaling based on damage dealt.

    So overall new MCH looks dope and I see some serious DPS coming from it , especially with automaton queen. It stacks with wild fire.

    So, I already posted this on another thread, but since is specificly about MCH's issues.

    And yes, after we got the media tour information, its pretty much confirmed that some of the old issues of Machinist still exist.

    Ping issues are still there, mainly because they decided to keep the 1.5 second GCD, but extend it to the whole Overheat window. I think it would have been so much better if they made Heat Blast a off GCD that you could use in between your 1-2-3 while in Overheat. 1.5 second GCD is too short for the amount of animation lock the game has, unless you have really good latency.

    Also, the Queen Automata looks like it takes around 5 seconds to actually start doing damage, effectively making it around 15 seconds, unlike the shown 20. I dont know if this is intended or not, but its a thing.

    New Wildfire kinda makes Reassemble... Useless? I know damage is damage, but I feel that with the new version of Wildfire, there is no optimization to Reassemble itself, just use it whenever and it's fine. And also, it's kinda weird to me that Gauss Round and Ricochet don't count for Wildfire but they are incentivised while on Overheat.

    Of course, not everyone is going to agree. But i've been maining MCH since 3.3, and I feel like the ShB version has the potencial to be the best one.

    5.0 MCH uses 12 rapid fire gcds in a single min vs the old 3 rapid fire gcds
    Well done SE , this was the problem that made MCH ping dependent and you multiplied that number x4
    Good job , I'm not touching this job until it's fixed , probably in 6.0

    I'd wait to try it before complaining about ping. The new wildfire damage is a fixed amount per weapon skill. And the 1,5s GCD should be less impacted by ping since it's not designed to be weaved with oGCD.
    I see it like this call the robot>Wildfire>Overheat>spam heat blast>profit?
    Since heat blast refresh your 2 oGCD you should have spent them before the phase so you can recharge them without capping. And since you're not weaving oGCD the skills should queue and be used directly as they're refreshed server side if you're just mashing the skill.
    As long as you manage to squeeze 5 heatwaves in there you've done what you could and should have max potency since activating the wildfire (10s) seems to align with the overheat (8s) so unless you've got a crazy good ping or invested everything in skillspeed, I don't see anyone pushing 6 heatwaves (but if it happen I would look at the skillspeed before looking at the ping)
