earrings are glam. treasure maps no one knows yet. probably is just guaranteed portals to uznair.
Only going to try and go for one item. 50 tombstones and you don't get many a day. Sparkly bird mount it is. Don't want to do extreme raids.
I imagine the que times for aar 24mans will go down quite a bit, and queuing as a tank/healer will only further expedite the process. So maybe 20min per run (if all goes smooth), do maybe 5 runs a day throughout the day and get 10 tomes a day and have some exclusive earrings in just over a week (: everything after that is just overflow to dump on those maps that I still find intriguing.
This maybe the first time i see an actual, helpful post in the forum.I was going to create this thread but i believed in search. You have my gratitude.Yes,costs are extremely high. They are trying to use us as workers because of game's broken system. It is extremely unfriendly to new players. With changes of MSQ dungeons(You cant skip cut scenes anymore) no one wants to join queues anymore. So they did this to push us into MSQ dungeons and grind them hundred times. It is ridiculous and need to be changed.
Edit:Forgot to mention that BLIZ tried to the similar thing in WOW.You can see what happened after that.

Its just something to keep players busy for a month. They could have just done nothing.....

I'm going to pass on it, there's nothing of interest reward wise to make me wanna do it, but I can see the reason of the overtuned costs. I think that like every expansion prior the devs are thinking of an army of new players coming into the game that need to get caught up. The high costs might be their way of assuring that currant players would be running the content all hours of the day and night to ensure players progressing through ARR will be able to find parties quicker. It makes sense considering the two most unpopular original ARR trials are the ones offering the most in terms of the event currency. I can understand why their doing this now because when the expansion does come I'd say very few if any players will be running roulette's for a while due to being to busy progressing through the new expansions MSQ. That and the inevitable issues with duty finder crashes that are sure to come when the NPC for the first solo instance gets swarmed.I can't be the only one thinking this event is a bit overtuned in terms of rewards/cost?
From the 30th May till 27th June (assuming the server go down for 1 day maintenance like usual) you only have 27 days. I'm pretty sure the best way to do this event and what the majority is going to do is spam the lvl 50 raids since they amount to 2 tomestones and can be quick ~ 20min. If you just wanted to get the earrings you'd have to run it 50 times, or 2x a day for 27 days except the last 4 days, only once.
I read Yoshi-P saying that he doesn't want people to feel like they need to login and play all the time, but this will be pretty much it. Shortly before an expansion is coming out, having seen all the cool new abilities, going back to do boring lvl 50 stuff is just not fun.
Or am I missing something?

I totally see that but doesn't the MSQ trial take about 1h with all the cutscenes? They should reward at least 6, if you can get 2 for just 20 minutes of 24 raid. Plus people find the cutscenes annoying and they know this, so they need to further up the reward to entice people to sit through that. Do we need to gofundme a calculator for SE?
Great community btw

Prae does. Castrum only takes around 35-40 minutes if the tanks do long pulls.I totally see that but doesn't the MSQ trial take about 1h with all the cutscenes? I did the math.... you need 1333 tokens to get everything in the event. Even if let's say you wanted the old zone speed increases, it's 30 tokens which is 30 tam-taras or 15 syrcus raids. You get 27 days to get what you want. I'll be honest, this is probably one of the worst feels for an event I've ever played. It's just not fun or giving you a sense of incentive to do anything. You can't even roulette to get the tokens. You're only limited to 5 dungeons, 3 raids, or 2 story quests to earn the tokens, which only yield 1, 2, or 3 respectively. That is so boring. I'm sorry Square, but you really dropped the ball if you were trying to get people involved. The costs should have been lower, roulettes should have given bonus tokens, and every dungeon, trial, raid, and MSQ should have given tokens. Please fix this.
