I'm on my fifth fresh reinstall and I'm at my wits end with this. I've been having a few dx11.exe crashes that then slowly devolved into errors like this so I decided to reinstall, I'm given this error upon clicking the "Play DirectX 11" button:

Unable to complete version update. [30426][19900][740]

I should note that I'm playing on Steam, I have done some brief googling and tried restarting my computer, looking into the ffxivgame.ver and ffxivboot.ver files to make sure that the numbers are both the same, I am currently on a fresh install and have done literally nothing to the game and it's giving me this error.

I've done a clean sweep through with my firewall and antivirus and I have no malware or any malicious software on my computer that could be preventing the game from launching. I'm at a loss. Please help!
