I would advise people to temper their expectations... There are 4 hairstyles per face and the WoL hairstyle in the benchmark. One new hairstyle in the patch notes. 6 options in total for any face.

Five years since Hrothguys came out and they're going to drip feed new hairstyles for the Hrothgals to give some illusion of progress on them because they're never going to do hats.

I know. I have that same expectation, but I also can't help but hope and want for them to have caught Hrothgar and Viera up in the unlockable styles and the shared defaults.
Even if they didn't fix the locked face styles for Hrothguys yet and doubled down by also doing that to Hrothgals for now.

This is the biggest part that's making me hesitant to swap to Hrothgal, because while I like certain faces, I don't like their default hairstyles and figured "oh, I can just use any hairstyles I unlocked instead" except... we don't know which ones, if any, can be used by female Hrothgar so my logging out near a Crystal Bell may be all for naught and I might have to wait a while longer before I can Fantasia.

bold of you to assume that Hrothgar will even be on said new Hairstyle. since we are five years running on "Please look forward to it" for hats, I am not going to hold my breath.

Maintenance seems to be the perfect time to swoon at the benchmark Hrothgals. I was wondering if I could create a face 1 Hrothgal who doesn't look unconditionally happy or well rested and came up with this. That cat is serious business!
