    *dusts off hands* Starting from earliest to latest in the video for DPS roles.

    Disclaimer - entirely possible I missed some details during the talky talky portion that explains some of these in actual detail.

    Bard
    -Repertoire procs fill the new gauge which is spent on new shots.

    Dragoon
    -New AoE finisher
    -Impulse is missing. Chaos Thrust is still 5 GCDs long.
    -Maybe? Unsure if move immediately following the end of combo is either new starter or '6th' GCD. Seems too fancy to be a new starter.
    -New jump. Cost - unknown. Once per Life phase?

    Black Mage
    -Single Flare used at end of AF
    -If Freeze has no CD, better than B3 + B4?
    -Single Foul.
    -Really wish that Formshift wasn't one of our new skills.

    I have to say, I was a little bit disappointed with Dancer.
    I am still giving the class a try, but it didn't impress me visually.
    The neutral stance was a bit disappointing too, they don't look like dancers when they're standing still in their '' combat stance ''.
    They just look like they're standing up straight and jumping up and down, I mean cmon I think that it'd be cool if they moved around more or looked more like they were at least getting ready to dance or something.
    It'd even be cool if they actually danced even when in their combat stance and not using any abilities.
    I kinda hope that it's a work in progress thing, because it really didn't make me feel like they're dancers when I saw that stance.
    I might just stick with my RDM as a secondary if they don't impress me more gameplay wise, altho Ninja's looked really cool too.

    Monks got SPINNING BIIIIRD KIIICK xD!

    Bard based on the live letter we may actually see that proc rework after all. Hint's there. Otherwise its new stuff is boring but effective. Can't complain about a few more cooldowns to roll with some thought put into them.

    DRG's new jump is clearly inspired by Nidhogg but I can't remember the name of the attack at all.

    Based on the screencaps floating around on Imgur, that BLM Formshift you're referring to might just be a Convert upgrade? Same effect, no accidental self-suicides.

    Monk gets GL4 via a meditate button? Colored GL seems to imply Elemental stances are still there to me. GL4 might be locked behind Wind then?

    MCH is still a hot mess but it looks like it's playable at high ping. Ammo & Wildfire's gone. Heat isn't but no one will care unless Overheat remains. Mine that lasts 8s probably the WF replacement, hopefully AoE detonation this time. Also HUGE GATLING GUNS.

    NIN goes full on Yun from Street Fighter and generates Ninki via weaponskills during it? They at least cap it super fast during that window for their new burst skill that may or may not replace TA. Mudra upgrades also seem to be in the works.

    SMN worries the hell out of me. Need to actually play it to determine if good or not. Signs point to the same filler rotation apart from seeing how that Aetherflow change plays out. Was hoping to get a return to HW but if this is actually done right I won't complain. If not I will ramble like I always do. Regardless, it's still cool looking, but that's never been the problem for me.

    DNC might be imbalanced after all. Shocker after BLU. This can only go horribly wrong in either direction. Especially if BRD isn't fixed.

    Based off the trailer, yes. Monk doesn't have access to GL4 until after swapping to Fists of Wind, but then retains it after switching back to Fists of Fire. So it's possible that they've taken the feedback from monks and are making the different stances important to use in battle. For almost all of the time since 2.0 you just always sit in Fists of Fire, with the exception now of using Fists of Wind to help build GL after they adjusted that trait in partway through Stormblood.

    Also on another watch through, it's subtle, but it looks like the effects when you use the skills have finally been updated. Also if this is a showcase of all skills, it's notable that Fists of Earth stance seems to have been removed completely as has Brotherhood. Though it's possible they just didn't show those.

    - monk = finally get the hadouken they deserve. oh and guile moonsault kick too haha, we are totally street figher now.
    - mch = hoo boy lot of stuff, love every bit of it. it seems they try to seperate mch and brd as sibling class (now its brd and dancer i guess?), mch now look like a proper full time dps class.
    - dancer = i dont know to be honest. seems being dancer we have more time buffing everyone instead of doing dps.
    - rdm = not much visual to see, new range attack and 1? melee skill i think?
    - blm = whats with the flare spam lol

    overall, i love it. monk, rdm, blm, drg got me exited, but mch definitely get me hyped.

    The ranged attack costs 10/10 Mana, seems like it's intended to help correct your gauge if you mess up somehow, as well as give an attack to use while repositioning. Other than that I guess it's a "Don't use since you want to use Gauge on the melee combo instead".

    The melee skill is an alternative to Displacement, shares a cooldown with it but also has 50 less potency. Literally nothing more than that. A really odd addition. At the very least it would have been nice to see a Charge Action effect on it, but nope... Nothing...

    Biggest oddity I find with both the trailer and Live Letter, is how they used Manafication wrong... They build well past 50/50 Mana before using it... During the gameplay Yoshida showed us, Manafication also applies some buff now with an as yet unknown effect.

    Other than that, all Red Mage really got was the same spell three times... Lost Impact to turn it into Scatter, presumably lost the enhanced Scatter proc too, and got AoE Veraero and Verthunder... Red Mage now has 4 GCDs dedicated to AoE damage while most other Jobs have 1... Bring on 5.1 I guess, I'm really lost with these changes...

    Verfoul is the only really noteworthy thing from the whole showing... Really a weak display for Red Mage IMO, I get they lumped it with other Jobs that just got "a simple evolution" of what they already had, but Red Mage seems to have come out the worst of that... Other Jobs seem to have gotten plenty of new oGCDs to spice up their current kit, all Red Mage got was Verfoul on the end of its current rotation... Everything else seems incredibly niche by design...

    I'm still laughing at the fact they they spoke about breaking synergies while also trying to pretend that DNC isn't going to be heavily in the meta because of it's buffs going forward. Either lean into the synergies or don't. Unless the other ranged classes have similar buffing abilities packed in they basically just continued the previous problem.

    That aside, I might actually pick up MCH again. Edgar was a must have in my FFVI team and seeing FFXIV pay homage to his moveset in such an amazing way made me smile.

    Dnc synergy probably isn't good enough to get them guaranteed party slots.They have 4 buffs from what we can tell from screen-grabbed tooltips. One is a mantra knockoff, another is a damage taken reducer, another just does an ae cure aura on you and your dance partner and none of these are going to matter at all. Saber dance is the good stuff, but saber dance isn't party wide, it's just you and your dance partner. So it's not going to rate compared to Trick Attack or Battle litany if those are still in, and it looks like they are.

    Who knows until we get full skill lists for everyone, but based on what we know now, dnc looks pretty underwhelming.

    Samurai on the other hand looks incredible and I can't believe nobody is talking about it. Hagakure is most likely gone, replaced with an ability that just gives kenki without spending sen. Another 50 kenki spender that probably hits like a truck and you whack somebody with the scabbard while you do it so that's cool. Meditate looks to have a follow up attack now which has potentially very interesting ramifications depending on how it works. And of course, TWO midare's. Getting to do more midare's is very much my ~*class fantasy*~ and I am hype as hell. Even if I don't think any of this is going to help sams out in party finders.
