#1] Think of the Students of Baldesion as an independent academic society. Galuf Baldesion and his friends (inspired by the Dawn Wariors) pulled the old Prince Noctis and went on a coming-of-age road trip across Hydaelyn, only the knowledge to which they were enlightened ended up being about primals. (Including something something Eureka.) With their niche and esoteric interests, they were in just the right position to become fast friends with the Scions of the Seventh Dawn, which is how Minfilia and Krile (who was adopted by Galuf) became close. Throughout 2.0 you can hear Minfilia making linkpearl calls to them a few times.

#2] See: Galuf's Memo, as suggested above. (Granted, I'd like to pick the writers' brains about that memo...)

#3] It's a one-two punch of an excuse for "Mob Team Rule of Cool" but it's a combination of the answers above: the Lifestream incident radically destabilized the local aether and thus changed the local fauna, and the instability of the aether made it easier for voidsent to cross the membrane, especially in the capacity of possessing and twisting dead fauna.

    #4] Answered well above.

#5] As far as we know so far, Eureka looks to be an Allagan-age primal. Maybe it was so late in the era they didn't have a "divine forgemaster" to pray to and focused on basically willing into existence an ADS node that grants wishes, lol. It will probably take more time to figure out if Eureka really is laying claim to Odin and Ozma, or if that's just more Rule of Cool that'll have to be explained away.
