Uploading nice and fast but my download speed keeps getting slapped down to 0.0B/s where it will stay that way for 15mins at a time before shooting up to 1mb/s for about 5 seconds. Hoping it'll be done in time for when servers are back up, still at 47% after 2 hours.

Are you using the official downloader? It did that to me all the time, but if I use µTorrent or Vuze it'll download steadily. :> The official downloader goes fast for me, but it likes to just stop every few minutes. T _ T

Yeah using the official patcher. When it works it's great but then it likes to just tell me no for 15-20mins at a time and just stall me at 0.0b/s. I'm assuming uploading is the same deal as stuff like uTorrent i.e. you're uploading it for other people? (I'm not totally incompetent with computers but I don't like to assume)

Yeah, the official patcher actually is doing the same thing uTorrent would, in general... I'm not the best at explaining the differences between the official patcher and other torrenting programs, but basically SE made their own BitTorrent client, and it's not always the best... It works well enough, but I always end up faster if I download via another program. I can't promise it'll fix your issues, but I had similar problems and it fixed mine. ^^; Maybe someone else can drop by with a better explanation. ;P

Restarted the client after 30mins of 0.0B/s, got 10mins of 400-500kb/s and now flatlining again.
