Key Pressing A Letter Snaps/Sorts To Starting item (Crafting Menu)

Like in windows explorer when looking through folders/files, if you press a letter on your keyboard it'll snap to items starting with that letter. If you type in two letters in short succession of each other you can even sort to items of two letters.

For example you press S, and so it jumps to Salmon. But you actually wanted Sour Dough.

So you instead press, S O (in very short timing of each other), and it jumps to the first item starting with So.



I know normally when you press keys it can go to your hotkeys or typing so I'd suggest that this feature only works when you have the window active (if inactive it wont sort). Active window being a window you currently have up front and selected (not just hanging out in the background).

A live example would be I just got the quest to make a Korrigan Doll. I open my menu and go to Namazu Quest Recipies.

I press K while the window is active. Since Korrigan Doll is the only item that starts with a K in the whole list it's the first item selected.

If you press a letter again it'll go to the next item. So if you press S and first is Salmon you might press S again to get Sour Dough (if that was next in order).

Looking at Beast Tribe Quest, Namazu category - first item as always is selected by default by the game:


(2): User presses K, first item starting with that letter is selected (repeat key presses will cycle to the next item and so on)
