    Most jobs only use either TP or MP. Removing one of them and making everyone use the same generic resource pool will not affect most jobs. Also, I think the general assumption is that most skills that cost TP will now cost nothing, and AOE skills will consume MP.

    For those jobs that do actually use TP and MP, things can be easily tweaked to only need one or the other.

    Examples (PURELY MADE UP, NOT FROM LEAKS OR ANYTHING)...
    PLD: All of PLD's skills could now cost 0 TP to use because TP is gone, and I suspect they'll switch the AOE skill to cost MP.
    BRD: Foe Requiem is now on a 3-minute cooldown, and lasts for an explicit duration.
    DRK: I'm not even going to guess, since I think they're getting some large changes.
    RDM: Ultimately, RDM could already have its reliance on TP removed completely and nothing would change. I bet some people don't even realize that their melee actions actually use TP.

    Please don't worry too much about it until we actually see the changes.

    The biggest question I have is: What will they do with AST's Spire + Ewer?
    Ewer stays the same, and Spire is now +Direct Hit maybe?

    This is purely conjecture, however, when they removed elemental resistances, they repurposed them for use in Eureka. Regardless of Eureka's merits (or lack thereof), perhaps they've found another use for the old TP resource that could be new and interesting. Alternatively, they may just want to reduce UI bloat.
