Is not "accepted" but come on .. pretty much on any online forums/games you can /blacklist /ignore /block /report etc until it becomes something like them logging onto other characters/accounts to keep doing it to you, then is nothing to yell about. This is what frustrates me about the Internet. Harassment is accepted as normal and people who don't like it are told to either get thicker skin or stay off the Internet as if they are the problem and the one who needs to change rather than the offender. I tried to speak up against some of the nasty people in eureka chat a few times but nobody else backed me up.
I would love for people to be held responsible for their online trash talk and punished in the same way you'd be punished for harassing people out on the street. Any time you are reported for saying sick unacceptable things or attacking people on services like Facebook and FFXIV, those service providers can send details of what you did to some central Internet police thing which builds a profile on all of your cyber misdemeanours and has the power to temp block you from the Internet altogether. Weed out all of the keyboard warriors. If you want freedom of expressing insults then that can happen on some darkweb, not the normal Internet.
