No Jandelaine minion, really?

Not much else to really say about this. I just really wish we had a Jandy minion. I'd feel like a beauty reborn with a wind-up version of him following me around.

I'm not sure what the equivalence is. (And "don't have" isn't the same as "can't have" anyway.)

We only have (as far as I can think) major characters as wind-up minions, and the pointer-icon hand and slime puddle are very different types of minions.

If we had wind-up versions of more obscure characters but not him, it might be more valid to say he's been left out. But it's more like he's just not in that tier of characters.

(Galka is more of a fair point since you have the other FFXI minions already.)

I don't know. Khloe, Zhloe, Edda, Sadu, etc aren't exactly major players.

Sadu is an MSQ character, and Khloe & Zhloe seem to get special treatment (eg. appearing at other cities' seasonal events). Edda got a whole side story and two dungeons to herself.

I don't think Jandelaine is at that level. He's one of the Moogle Post quest targets, alongside a lot of other minor characters, but I don't think he's been featured in anything else beyond that.

Jandelaine is featured later in the Moogle Posts because he's first encountered when you unlock the Aeshetician services. He's the quest starter and key to the story of it. All the Moogle Post stories are either NPCs you encountered in things like FATES or in earlier quests.
