Enough with 'Hunt trains'

I want them to allow regular players to also be able to do it, instead of being forced to wait for them lest they be punished. I can't ever do A ranks now because I'm not there when they do it, and no one else wants to do it outside of their Strict Schedule.

They don't have any authority over anyone so they cannot allow nor force other players. But, they have every right to exclude you from their activities if they didn't want you.

So because I don't play at that exact time, I have no chance of ever even seeing an A rank. And you think that's fair?

That's how MMO works. If you don't play at the same time others play, then good luck waiting alone. Take for example savage raiding. Right now you'd be lucky if you find a party doing deltascape and sigmascape savage. And with the current tier, if you don't play around the time where a lot are playing for your data center, then you pretty much won't be able to do any at all.

You should ask the train organizers the same question.

Either way, I guess it's pointless to assume a mob would ever deviate. Too scared I guess. I'm sure people will cry that the train's hunts (y'know, the ones they have a right to kill every time) are mysteriously missing if someone like me were to solo them. And everyone will console them because they couldn't get an extra 40 seals on top of the thousands they got that day. Oh well. Close the thread I guess.

They weren't doing it. And I'm not waiting for people from other worlds to show up to take the hunts on my world. They weren't there, they were probably taking all the hunts on the other worlds at the time.

Does no one see a problem with having to play in a way that conforms to a group of people's ideals or else you don't get to play, or even get "blacklisted" from social channels? That's forcing people to play that way or be punished.

Then why didn't you follow them to other worlds and also take the hunts there? You can server hop in a few seconds.

You're aware that on crystal, at least on Coeurl, Mateus, Goblin, Malboro, and Diabolos (which you claim is your home world), and sometimes Zalera, though not regularly linked cross-world, trains happen as soon as everything is spawned (unless we're waiting for another train on another world to finish, cause people sometimes like getting 15+ a day), which generally means that by the time you've found it, its already on the list of things to die in the next 30 minutes.

As someone who regularly scouts out Coeurl trains, unless you're playing suuuper early on a day where we had a post-midnight central time evening train, its already been relayed in multiple discords and 20+ linkshells. If people are telling you 'wait for the train', it means they're aware the train is getting ready to start, and you might as well just hold up a minute and get 12-48x the rewards (because as a datacenter, theres thousands of us that have this down to a science).

Coming from a server a year ago that didnt do hunt trains (or at least I could never get anyone on Cactuar to get me info on it), these are some of the best things in the game and its kind of silly to decide you'd rather do one than twelve.

Maybe you should join a world server that has more hunters that think like you?

And it would probably be the same situation on a different data center too, unless Primal is the odd one out. I know Aether does at least 3 trains a day (9a 3p 9p est I believe.. may do one at 3a, but I am asleep then). My home server has done it this way for ages and it seemed to be a pretty easy process for all of aether to get involved after world visit.

Primal has them too, just not as often. Maybe I am missing them but it seems once a day or so.
