Enough with 'Hunt trains'

I literally tried to cooperate with others and it doesn't work because everyone just waits for the stupid train.

Didn't ever say "do it with me" I said "hey guys there's an A rank here, I made a PF group if anyone wants to do it" and got told not to because I was ruining it for the train because their interests trump mine, apparently. I don't have time to wait until 6pm EST or whatever for them to roll up and let me get the seals I wanted. Do you not see the problem in regular players being discouraged from playing because a group of people called 'dibs' on all hunts ever?

Some times its not about effeciency, but about adventure and entertainment. Not saying never be effecient, but dont be surprised some rare people want an actual fight.

i will say, people always seem to think the other side is the crazy/entitled/dumb ones, really its usually just a different perspective.

You're right about that. I've solo'ed HW A ranks for the fun of it when SB was out (just dropped them to 5% HP and reset them so that I can relay to others about it). But, each side can be considered crazy/entitled/dumb if they think they have a right to force the opposite side to their will. Other than that, each to their own.

If I am being honest, Hunts aren't my priorty and I only go after a hunt when I see one as I a doing my own thing normally. I am not the most active hunter but like to take them on when I can.

If this was better broadcasted so that more can try and get on board the crazy train it would probably go a whole lot better. I wasn't even aware of this train system until I ran across 2 open Rank As stationed in The Lochs. Was able to kill one with only 4 people but couldn't get the other until Ixion spawned on us. XD I have way too much going on, as well as others most likely, to wait on a train or seek out the train to even take out a simple rank A. If anything, there should be more then one train.

But the point is that the train itself was never broadcasted for everyone, and not just people in the LSs or discords. I wouldn't mind joining a discord dedicated to this train if it ever is posted for us to see where the train is currently locatted and give us a chance to join or the rank As on another world we aren't on at this moment. I don't hate the train personally. Oh and I won't ever be joining any Hunt LSs as they get too capped way too often and I am not a regular enough hunter to be in one as they recycle people(based on past experienced). Discord Hunt channel or bust.

Maybe you should join a world server that has more hunters that think like you? Everyone else seems to enjoy the benefits and pros of the hunt trains and that's the player convention in the world you're in if you couldn't get anyone to join in on your PF party.

Edit: SB A rank hunt trains run at least 3 or 4 times a day how do you not make an entire one in any world let alone one data center.

Sounds to me like you're inefficiently hunting A ranks. Even running 12hr work days for 5 days last week with family visiting I was able to make 3 hunt trains (36 SB A ranks).

You should ask the train organizers the same question.

Either way, I guess it's pointless to assume a mob would ever deviate. Too scared I guess. I'm sure people will cry that the train's hunts (y'know, the ones they have a right to kill every time) are mysteriously missing if someone like me were to solo them. And everyone will console them because they couldn't get an extra 40 seals on top of the thousands they got that day. Oh well. Close the thread I guess.
