Enough with 'Hunt trains'

I called out an A rank in Azim Steppe and got told to leave it alone so the Hunt Train could come get it, and that wanting to do it without them "wasn't nice". So I'm supposed to wait for a mob of people to roll up in an hour just to get more than one other person to do it? And most of them are just from other worlds anyway? How is this fair to regular players.

Yes I know I can just do it anyway, and I will, but the entitlement of this mob is really stupid.

If you can get enough people to kill it, feel free. You are doing nothing wrong. The hunt folks may not be happy, and it is entirely their prerogative to blacklist you if they wish, but that's about all they can do. The annoyance, from their perspective, is that if an A rank hunt goes missing, then their scouts waste extra time checking, and double-checking, only to find that it isn't up.

The trains, however, get more people the rewards, so from the perspective of the masses, the trains are quite helpful. Personally, I hate the hunt system, and trains (and old soloable hunts) are the only way I participate with the hunt system. If someone has sniped one of the A ranks, most people just shrug and move on.

Do what you like, but your argument that people should do away with hunt trains because of this is stupid. If you want to solo A ranks, go to HW/ARR zones. Soon enough with ShB, nobody will probably even care about the A-ranks in SB zones.

But on the other hand, don't get pissed if they kick you out of link shells or black list you. You don't wanna play by the group rules, then you should handle the burden that comes with that.

Hunt trains are a fantastic way to get a lot of people rewards in minimal time off poorly-conceived content.

They are among the best player-driven ideas in the game.

I think you're projecting. I'm not afraid, it's that I literally can't get anyone in the map to join me to do one because they're all afraid of "being blacklisted from linkshells" because they didn't go with the Almighty Train. I literally can't do A ranks in SB because I don't have time to wait for the Scheduled Stop on my world to do them. I used PF and only one person came which wasn't enough, so I can't do them. How many times do I have to say "I can't do them because of this" for you to understand.
