why i quit before reaching endgame (feedback from a new player)

the only thing that bugs me is when im doing quest the gil amount for reward is not worth it, sometimes the zones do not connect they send you back to a place 999 gil to teleport by the time you come back you spent 2k gil get rewarded 1800 gil lol the experience is pretty much not worth it either or piece of gear is out dated and if I go to put in in Auction house its like undercutted to no ends so I just sell it at npc to make up the difference of teleports.

This is the worst attitude in which you could play the game with.
Expecting a gratification from doing everything will kill this game for you.
You do normal quests for the story behind them, each one of them is a page of a story, all combined a book you read while doing some things in the middle.
Do people irl expect their book to drop out 10 bucks after reading it? Think about it.
The same attitude WoW players have in their game, they expect to gain gain and gain, they are so desperate of getting something that they refuse to do stuff because it will take them too long to get anything.
