The post-launch level 50 stuff was (so far) the only time I considered the MSQ to be a weakness of the game rather than a strength. I wanted to lay in traffic... thank The Twelve you only have to do it once.

Well, this is a MMORPG. I recommend you to read game's descriptions before buying it next time.hello
i tested this game for 2 weeks now, reached level 60 and quit the game during the dragonsong quests. most annoying game of all time. this is my experience:
go to npc -----> cutscene -----> accept quest -----> cutscene -----> make quest -----> go to npc -----> cutscene ------> accept new quest -----> cutscene -----> go to next npc -----> cutscene
-----> do quest -----> cutscene -----> go to npc -----> cutscene -----> accept dungeon-quest -----> cutscene -----> enter dungeon -----> cutscene -----> arrive first boss -------> cutscene
-----> arive next boss -----> cutscene -----> arrive last boss -----> cutscene -----> defeat last bos -----> cutscene ------> go out of dungeon ------> cutscene-...................
WTF. from 2 weeks of playing i watched at least 1,5 weeks cutscenes without doing anything than watching. i quit this collection of cutscenes yesterday. i don't want to watch cutscenes for weeks just to be able to play the game i paid for! i love good lore and dont have a problem with some cutscenes, but this is absoluteley ridiculous.

I hope you find a game you like more. I'm an impatient person and I tend to skip the cut scenes then watch them later in my inn room when I'm bored or when I feel I missed something important.
Funny, 14's description on its own website doesnt say "You have to do a long, grindy, bloated storyline or pay $30 in order to raid or do content with your friends".
It even tells me I can play my own way and emphasizes the things you expect to be able to do in an MMO, like raid and do dungeons and stuff with friends. Of course it also emphasizes housing, something you arent going to be doing as a new player, so we can see how much we should trust that...
Does any game advertise in this manner? Do we see Blizzard saying "enjoy poor class balance, a rng gear upgrade system everyone hates and patches with content players already said they find very boring" about WoW? Does Bethesda say "we have a wonderful world riddled with bugs that is a clear indication of our lack of QA testing or even care for the game" about Fallout 76? No, of course not.

Exactly, it doesn't say you have to pay 30$ to play with your friends, because that would be a lie. If they're your friends, they would help you.Funny, 14's description on its own website doesnt say "You have to do a long, grindy, bloated storyline or pay $30 in order to raid or do content with your friends".

Housing is limited, yet you can get an apartment and a room in a FC.
You can skip cutscenes if you don't like them.
It's grindy because you want to. You can level up fast doing completely different content instead of spamming the same over and over.
OP left because he started playing a MMORPG and doesn't like the RPG part of it. He just wanted to reach max level fast and ignore the rest.

Just because you can't understand the concept of a story in an RPG doesn't mean it is a bad thing.Funny, 14's description on its own website doesnt say "You have to do a long, grindy, bloated storyline or pay $30 in order to raid or do content with your friends".
