why i quit before reaching endgame (feedback from a new player)

The ones I play are like this, sounds like everything in FF14 storywise is working as intended.

name one jrpg that plays like this, no FF jrpg plays like this, i have played them all. The closest non ff game would probably be xenosaga, but the narrative was a natural part of gameplay, and even then i would say the non combat/exploration/adventure side would still only be at 50%.
